Hammond Group recently announced the promotion of two long-term employees to key Vice Presidential roles.
Dan Loosemore has been named Vice President of Hammond’s North American Operations and is responsible for both the Pottstown, Pennsylvania and Hammond, Indiana Oxide plants in addition to the Hammond Expander plant.
Loosemore has been with Hammond for over nineteen years and has over 30 years of industry experience. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Purdue University. Making the announcement, Terry Murphy, Hammond’s President and CEO, said, “Dan has overseen operations of the Hammond Expander facility where he has shown exceptional management ability and is ready to take on these additional responsibilities for our North American operations.”
Lisa Derico has been named Vice President of Human Resources and is responsible for all of Hammond’s Human Resources needs, including those of Employee Health and Safety.
Derico has seventeen years with Hammond and holds a Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science from Indiana University in addition to a Master’s degree in Accounting. “Lisa has been instrumental in the development and execution of Hammond’s strategic goals, especially the company’s benefit programs, including 401(k) and ESOP retirement plans,” said Murphy.

These promotions come at a point of growth for Hammond. The company recently expanded production with a new Treated SureCure® line in North America as well as introduced a new product innovation — GravityGuard™. Additionally, last year Hammond created the Innovation Leadership Council to provide operational solutions for its global customers.
