Hammond Group is excited to welcome Dr. Marco Robotti to their UK team as Materials Engineer.
Marco received his PhD in Materials Engineering from the University of Barcelona. His thesis was on functional surfaces obtained by thermal spray techniques developing photocatalytic and photoelectrocatalytic materials.
His recent work was at Fiamm Energy Technology S.p.A. in research, development, and innovation of automotive and industrial lead-acid batteries.
“We have made revolutionary breakthroughs in lead battery charge acceptance with our Advanced Expanders (AE) and have committed significant investments to serve the current and emerging requirements of our battery customers,” said Terry Murphy, Hammond Group’s CFO. “With Marco’s experience in the lead industry we will continue these breakthroughs and keep bringing innovations to the forefront.”
